International Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules of Law Relating to Assistance and Salvage at Sea, 1910

1 INTRODUCTION

Although a new convention on salvage was been adopted in 1989, it appears convenient to consider also the previous convention, adopted in 1910 concurrently with the Convention on Collision, since at the end of 2013 there were still forty-three States Parties to that Convention.1
