Injunctions to restrain wrongful foreign litigation

28.01 General

Previous chapters have dealt with the party who, when proceedings against him have been brought in an English court, would prefer the proceedings to be brought overseas. It is now necessary to examine steps which may be taken by a party who is being, or who fears being, sued before a foreign court, but who considers that any proceedings which are to be brought against him should be brought in England (or, perhaps, somewhere else).
