IDBI-FORTIS LIFE VENTURE GETS PRELIMINARY IRDA CLEARANCE

India’s Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority (IRDA) has given first-stage clearance to the joint life-assurance venture planned by the Industrial Development Bank of India, Dutch-Belgian financial services group Fortis and Kerala-based Federal Bank. IRDA chairman CS Rao said that the final clearance was “at an advanced stage of consideration”.
