JAPANESE INSURERS REHIRING FORMER WORKERS
The non-life and life sectors in Japan have begun actively re-hiring former workers as it becomes harder to recruit school
leavers in a firmer jobs market, reports
Nikkei
. Sompo has extended its rehiring programme to those who have left the company up to 15 years ago. Previously its limit had
been seven years. Service rewards will also be increased to two-thirds of the years served, rather than the previous 50%.
