Lloyd’s...
opened its reinsurance office in Pudong New District of Shanghai this week, through
Lloyd’s Reinsurance Company (China) Ltd. The Chinese operation is still waiting for approval from the Chinese regulator CIRC before
it begins operations.
Lloyd’s chairman Lord Levene said he hoped that the company could begin operating early next year.
