Post-trade best execution compliance

MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) has suggested many execution factors to be considered when making a best execution policy. I think all the execution factors are independent of each other and no two factors can be combined together. Although it may be said that one particular factor has more weight than all the other factors it cannot really be said that measures of two factors are comparable. It is best left to human mind only when saying that one factor weighs over the other.
