Davies warns against selective briefing
Speaking at a Bloomberg lunch in London on October 25th, FSA Chairman Howard Davies warned that selective briefing of City
analysts and the media by listed companies will not be tolerated. He pointed to a number of recent cases of such apparently
selective briefing of analysts and journalists and reaffirmed the FSA’s commitment to enforce long-standing rules preventing
selective leaking or briefing by London listed companies.
