European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee urges amendments to ‘protectionist’ elements of ISD

The European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee (ESFRC) has issued a statement ‘Towards a Single Market in European Securities Trading: an Agenda for Reform of the ISD’, urging the European Commission to address what it regards as a key weakness in the 1993 Investment Services Directive (ISD).
