FSA research on risk and offshore operations of UK financial services firms

May saw the publication by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of an interesting research paper, which outlines the results of its research designed to better inform its understanding of the risks posed by firms and business processes to the FSA’s own regulatory objectives. These objectives include market confidence, the protection of consumers, the reduction of financial crime and public awareness of the financial system.
