Amendments to the Securities Laws

The demutualization of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) required amendments to the securities laws to accommodate the
new structure of the exchange. The amendments include new definitions, provisions to cater for the new exchange structure
and public policy framework in relation to composition of the board of the exchange company.
