Earlier this year the decision of the High Court in R v Financial Services Authority ex parte Davies & Others, to refuse permission to seek a judicial review of the Financial Services Authority’s use of its powers to seek a prohibition order under s56 Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA 2000) was considered in the April issue of Financial Regulation International .
