FSA Publishes Annual Report and Sets Future Priorities

FSA looks backwards and forwards

The FSA’s Annual Report for the year 2002/2003 explains and accounts for the regulator’s work by grouping the discussion around the priorities it had set for itself towards the fulfilment of its statutory objectives. This means that rather than reporting back under the various regulatory processes and functions such as supervision, intervention, enforcement, international co-operation etc. it presents what it has been doing, what it has achieved, and has yet to address in the context of the four main spheres of regulatory impact and activity, namely Consumers, Firms, Markets and the Regulatory Regime.
