Committee reaches agreement on New Accord issues

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has reached an agreement on a number of vital issues relating to the New Accord that have been explored in various consultations since releasing its January 2001 consultation paper. With all the ongoing work it is perhaps a good time to assess what has been achieved to date.
