FSA will not mandate commission disclosure…for now

Commercial insurance brokers will not have to disclosure commissions to their customers as a matter of course, the Financial Services Authority’s (FSA) review has concluded, but the regulator said it cannot ignore concerns about transparency exposed during the review and it has announced a consultation will take place with the industry from the beginning of 2008.
