The Financial Services Authority has withdrawn
the individual approval of insurance broker Richard Wolf and has taken action to prevent him from working in relation to any
regulated activity on the basis that he fails the fit and proper criteria. The permission granted to his company, Rotheville
Insurance Brokers, has also been cancelled. According to the FSA, Mr Wolf told clients they were insured when in fact premiums
had not been forwarded to activate the policies. The FSA also said that Mr Wolf failed to disclose significant information
to the FSA in its investigation. The FSA found that Rotheville owed insurers almost £42,500 in unpaid premiums.
