Brokers warned to meet capital requirements without goodwill from 2008

On 14 January 2008, when insurance brokers can mark their third anniversary of statutory regulation, the transitional arrangements that allowed brokers to include goodwill in the calculation of their capital resources will come to an end and the regulator has published several documents in preparation for the change.
