Tiner criticises EU regulation

As John Tiner prepares to leave the FSA, he calls for reform in the regulation of large EU groups

Regulation for pan-European financial institutions is “overly complex and burdensome” and Europe’s legislators must address the problems to avert damaging the global competitiveness of large businesses, said outgoing chief executive of the Financial Services Authority John Tiner.
