Greenberg adds to concern over US regulation
Maurice Greenberg, the ousted head of
AIG and chief executive officer of investment firm CV Starr, has blamed the US’s “hostile” regulatory regime for the decline
in the competitiveness of the country’s insurance industry. Speaking at an insurance conference in New York, Mr Greenberg
said London and Bermuda have taken New York’s crown as the world’s leading insurance centre.
