▪ The International Underwriting Association (IUA) has received a second request for information from the European Commission’s competition inquiry into business insurance. The association said it has responded in full to the latest request, which sought details on the IUA’s work on clauses and several studies. The IUA received the first request for information in September last year as part of the Competition Commission’s initial exercise to survey trade associations across Europe which was followed by questionnaires sent to practitioners in March. The study is expected to conclude before the end of the year.
