Europe restricts London market insurers, RPC

Anti-competitive practices in other EU member states are affecting the London market’s access to insurance business on the Continent, claims market lawyer Andrew Hobson, a partner at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC). Commenting on the EC’s competition investigation into business insurance, Mr Hobson said it provided the London insurance market with an opportunity to reveal any unfair practices it has experienced in providing commercial insurance to European companies.
