CFOs add EEV guidance

The new embedded value standards are tweaked six months into adoption

The CFO Forum has added further guidance to the implementation of its European Embedded Value (EEV) Principles six months after it was first launched. The Forum’s member companies agreed to adopt the principles by the end of this year and many have already reported 2004 figures using EEV to improve the consistency and transparency of Embedded Value, a tool that allows investors to understand the value of life insurance companies.
