FSA takes action
The regulator is coming down hard on general insurance intermediaries
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is on the case of two general insurance and mortgage intermediaries and one secondary
insurance intermediary as it steps up its Treating Customers Fairly campaign. The enforcement actions, although over separate
issues, highlight the consequences from low compliance standards and add to the handful of enforcement cases that have been
brought against insurance and mortgage brokers since regulation of the sectors began in January 2005 and October 2004 respectively.
