FSA seeks improvement from critical illness sales
The UK regulator’s treating customers fairly campaign has turned its attentions to the critical illness industry. During visits
to firms and mystery shopping exercises to assess the levels of compliance with the regulator’s rules on selling critical
illness policies the FSA found that while many companies are making the effort to meet the requirements, more needs to be
done to show they are treating customers fairly and to provide customers with a better understanding of the product they are
buying.
