FSA and SEC agree supervisory co-operation

US and UK financial services regulators have signed a memorandum of understanding to improve supervisory co-operation of the industry. The Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Services Authority (FSA) signed the agreement at a meeting in Washington in March that will allow for confidential supervisory details to be exchanged between the two regulators.
