The EC competition investigation is now seeking information from insurers

A selection of insurers across the European Union’s 25 states are due to receive questionnaires probing their compliance with competition law. The competition directorate of the European Commission began sending the questionnaires on 2 March and it marks a crucial phase in the Commission’s inquiry into business insurance, first announced in June last year.
