EU challenges member states over implementation

The UK and nine other member states have about two months to answer a reasoned opinion filed by the European Commission about the implementation of the winding-up directive, which should have been transposed into national law in April this year. The EC said that, along with Belgium, France, Germany, Finland, Greece, Luxembourg, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden, the UK has failed to notify the Commission about the implementation of the directive.
