CEA monitors Lamfalussy for insurance

The Comité Européen des Assurances (CEA) has warned that the extension of the Lamfalussy process to the insurance industry should not jeopardise the quality of future legislation. While the CEA supports the general principals of the Lamfalussy process for use in the insurance industry, it said any reforms should consider quality checks to ensure inferior legislation is not the price to pay for a speedier path.
