Hong Kong: an 11-year-old boy left brain damaged, unable to walk or write and nearly blind after falling behind a reversing car, jamming his head between it another parked one for around 30 seconds has reportedly settled for more than HK$25mn ($3.2mn), a record for the territory. His family had initially claimed $73.6mn. The defence, in the Court of First Instance, had put the figure at HK$21.1mn.
