Bancassurance set to explode in Chile

In April this year, Chilean regulators authorised insurance companies to offer their customers credit cards and consumer loans in a bid to increase competition and reduce interest rates in the consumer lending market. Insurers see this as a positive step for the industry, because they will be able to offer a more complete set of financial products.
