There has been a great deal of speculation about the future of the London market insurer and reinsurer, Württ UK. So much so, that two weeks ago the company’s managing director, Stephen Redmond, issued a statement after press reports incorrectly suggested that Württ UK would be reducing its underwriting capacity for 2003.
