India clears way for launch of new public sector insurer
The Indian Finance Ministry has cleared a proposal by a group of state-owned companies to float a joint venture agricultural
insurance company. The company will issue cover for general crop risks, agricultural property, machinery and inputs ranging
from tractors to livestock.
