Poland to combat motor fraud with database
Car insurance fraud in Poland is at its highest level for some years according to market leader, Powszechny Zakad Ubezpieczeñ
(PZU). PZU’s deputy claims director, Jerzy Cywoniuk, said corrupt garage operators, who collude with vehicle owners to inflate
the cost of damage to vehicles involved in accidents, are the main culprits.
