Caribbean to develop early warning system to mitigate impact of climate change

An Early Warning System (EWS) for detecting the effects of climate change which could help insurance companies, among other interest groups, better plan risk management strategies, is being developed in the Caribbean under a US$3.5mn programme largely funded by the government of Finland.
