German and Swedish insurers are making renewed efforts to enter the Chinese market. The growing interest of German insurers was confirmed recently by Bernd Michaels, president of the German insurers’ association. The association recently signed an agreement with the Insurance Association of China, under which it will provide training opportunities for administrative personnel in China’s insurance industry.
