Based in Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre, London Life & General Re (LLGRe) provides traditional and finite life and property/casualty reinsurance products to the UK, continental European and Asian markets. The company, which is 100% owned by Ontario-based London Reinsurance Group, recorded a pre-tax loss of Can$18mn (US$11mn) in 2001, against a deficit of Can$20mn for 2000.
