Bradesco tops Brazilian market

The financial and banking group Bradesco was the largest insurer in Brazil last year, winning back market share after previously losing the position to Sul America. According to local reports Bradesco has a market share of 19.4% after a reported turnover of R$1.30bn (US$524mn). Sul America took second place with a market share of 18.6% and turnover of R$1.24bn followed by Porto Seguro with a market share of 7.1%.
