Management changes forced on Generali

Italian insurer Generali effectively changed top management at its annual general meeting last weekend. Company president, Gianfranco Gutty has retained his position, but has given up his role as a general manager. Deputy president and general manager Fabio Cerchaia retains just a seat on the board. Giovanni Perissinotto remains as a general manager, and is joined by Sergio Balbinot who becomes a second general manager.
