Prudential thrives in French life market
UK insurer
Prudential is pleased with the progress of its
Prudential Europe Vie product, launched in France at the beginning of this year when the company also set up a French subsidiary. Some
800 of these policies have been sold in the first half, collecting Fr200mn in premiums.
Prudential is aiming for total premium income of Fr500mn for the whole of 2001.
Prudential’s partner in France, CNP Assurances, chose not to carry the contract but the product has appealed to the financial advisers
who operate under the auspices of the Cercle Français du Patrimoine.
