Hong Kong set to restructure system
A major restructuring of Hong Kong’s insurance regulatory system is in the offing. The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance
(OCI) is working on plans that will result in either transforming the OCI into a truly independent organisation free from
government control or merging it with the Mandatory Provident Fund Authority.
