Support for GIC
Two of India’s newly licensed general insurers – Reliance General Insurance and Iffco Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance – have
decided to pass on their entire reinsurance programme to the state-run General Insurance Corporation (GIC), designated as
the national reinsurer.
