New Zealand fund loses millions in currency deals
The New Zealand government Superannuation Fund, which invests the retirement savings of cabinet ministers, MPs, judges and
civil servants, lost NZ$12.1mn (US$5.04mn) playing the currency market last year. The Serious Fraud Office is investigating
the fund’s operations.
