Slovenian market surges
Reinsurance business written by Slovenia’s three professional reinsurance companies surged by 33.7% in 1999 to SLT17.8bn (US$80.5m).
However, with liberalisation of the reinsurance market this year, doubts remain over the ability of the industry to retain
the save pace of growth.
