ICHEIC refusal costs Munich Re deal

Munich Re’s decision not to join the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims (ICHEIC) has cost its subsidiary American Re control of the United National Group. United National’s parent, American Insurance Services (AIS), has exercised its contractual right to terminate the agreement after a ten month delay in gaining regulatory approval.
