BAIG acquisition forms largest aviation insurer
One of the companies most heavily affected by the crash of the Air France Concorde in Paris is to form the largest aviation
underwriter in the world. The British Aviation Insurance Group (BAIG) will buy Associated Aviation Underwriters (AAU) for
an undisclosed sum. The deal will be effective from 1 January next year.
