London market broker survey

The first issue of World Insurance Report Incorporating Reinsurance Market Report coincides with the publication of the annual RMR London Market Brokers’ Survey. It shows that the onset of much tougher market conditions hit the performance of London Market brokers in 1999 when a sample of 89 companies reported a 25% reduction in profitability with brokerage income growing by just 6%.
