Motorcyclist injuries from emergency situation

A man was riding his motorcycle, in a convoy of four motorcycles. He was following a motorcycle which failed to negotiate a sharp left hand bend, lost control and veered into the opposite carriageway, directly into the path of an oncoming car, resulting in a collision and an explosion. The motorcyclist following behind, saw the collision, braked heavily and in doing so, also lost control of his motorcycle and slid across the road, sustaining injuries. He sued the personal representative of the motorcyclist killed in the collision.
