Asbestos worker’s compensation

The family of retired asbestos worker has received £62,000 after their mother’s death from mesothelioma. She had worked at the British Uralite asbestos factory on the production line and later as a supervisor. She was involved in the production of many asbestos based products and was exposed to very high levels of asbestos exposure as a result. Settlement was reached by negotiation without the need for a trial.
