Asbestosis victim sues former employers

A man who now suffers from asbestosis has successfully sued four of his six former employers. The 79-year-old former joiner worked for a number of different firms during the 1950s and early 1960s and was regularly exposed to asbestos without warning or breathing protection. Four of his former employers have been forced to pay a one-off settlement of £25,000.
