Steel works injury compensation

A man who was working in a steel works when he was hit by a 1000°C metal bar on the shoulder, has received £5000 in injury compensation. The bar caused his clothes to ignite, leaving him with painful deep burn injuries. It took months for the wounds to fully heal and he was left with permanent obvious scarring from the burns.
