£28,000 in compensation for dog attack

A woman who was attacked by a dog has won £28,000 in compensation. She was walking along a narrow footpath with her own dog when the defendant’s dog attacked her, biting her left arm and elbow. The owner of the dog accepted liability. The injury required plastic surgery treatment. Compensation was agreed in an out of court settlement.
